Agreement
Using Gmail Unsubscribe means accepting these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Baxter Inc. ("Baxter", "we", "us") governing your use of the Gmail Unsubscribe Chrome extension, the website at gmailunsubscribe.com and its dashboard, and related services (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The service
What Gmail Unsubscribe does, always at your direction.
Gmail Unsubscribe helps you leave mailing lists in your Gmail inbox: unsubscribing from senders you select, archiving or trashing the mail those senders already sent, and, if you allow it, creating Gmail filters for senders an unsubscribe could not stop. With a paid plan it can also clean up mail according to rules you create, apply labels you choose, and clear new mail from senders you unsubscribed from. Actions that change your mailbox happen because you enabled or requested them, and many can be undone from the dashboard. Gmail Unsubscribe is not affiliated with Google; Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC.
Your account
Sign in with Google; keep your access yours.
- You need a Google account to use Gmail Unsubscribe, and you must have the right to connect the mailbox you connect.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure.
- You may disconnect Gmail Unsubscribe's access at any time from your Google account permissions; the Service stops acting on your mailbox once access is revoked.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Simple subscriptions, processed by Stripe.
- Some features are free; others require a paid subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown at purchase, and payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel from the dashboard at any time, or ask support to do it for you; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Where trials are offered, their terms are shown when you start the trial.
- If your plan comes with a Baxter subscription, it is billed and managed in your Baxter account.
- For billing questions or issues, contact support@usebaxter.com.
Acceptable use
Don't break it, don't abuse it.
- Don't use the Service to violate any law, send spam, or infringe others' rights.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Don't resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service, and don't reverse-engineer it except where the law permits.
- Don't connect a mailbox you are not authorized to manage.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your data
Your mailbox stays yours. Our access is scoped and revocable.
Your email belongs to you. How we access, use, protect, and delete data, including our Google API Limited Use commitments, is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Intellectual property
We own the Service; you own your content.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Baxter and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own inbox while these Terms are in effect. You retain all rights to your email and any content you provide (such as the rules and label names you create).
Disclaimers
Email automation has limits. Review what matters.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Unsubscribe attempts, filters, and AI-generated suggestions can be imperfect: senders may ignore unsubscribe requests, filters and rules follow the settings you choose, and suggested labels and assistant answers should be reviewed before you act on them. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is capped, to the extent the law allows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baxter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
Leave any time; so can we, with reason.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for data deletion). We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access for violations of these Terms, to comply with law, or if we discontinue the Service; where practical, we will give reasonable notice.
Changes to these terms
We'll post updates here.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
